Morgan Hoffman grew up in Upstate New York, and calls New York City home.

She was always influenced by strong feminist icons who possessed an androgynous style, and often recreates their legendary looks in polaroid form. The inspiration for GIRLBOY came from muses like Louise Brooks in the 20’s, Katharine Hepburn in the 40’s and Diane Keaton in the late 70’s. They were all women who played with both gender roles and broke barriers when it came to style.

Morgan’s philosophy for GIRLBOY is keeping classics alive with a modern twist, especially from the 1960s and 1970s. To be your own muse is the guiding light for the brand.

Her primary focus for GIRLBOY is equality for all women.
